Wedding & Renewal of Vows

Ceremonies & Rates

Fees are listed below and are based on ceremonies held within Spruce Grove city limits and west Edmonton only. If you prefer to have Seanna Collins officiate your wedding regardless of your location in Alberta, additional expenses will apply including hourly travel rate and mileage at .68 cents per kilometer. *Based on 2023 CRA Mileage Rates.

Two witnesses 18+ are required for your wedding ceremony.  If needed Weddings by Seanna can provide them at $50 per person. Advance notice is required. 

​

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $150 secures your wedding ceremony date and time; the balance is due one week prior to the wedding day. Every effort is made to accommodate last-minute ceremonies.  All meetings, rehearsals, and ceremonies are booked by appointment only.  Any changes made are by mutual agreement only.

Fees are payable to Seanna Collins by CASH, certified personal cheque or bank draft and must include GST.  

Customized 
Ceremony

$375 plus GST

  • Custom personalized Marriage Ceremony

  • Ceremony consultation via email

  • A one-hour in person meeting for scripting 

  • Script approval 

  • Communication throughout - phone calls, emails, etc.

  • Officiating the Marriage Ceremony

  • Civil Marriage Statement (proof of marriage)

  • Submission of completed Marriage Licence to Alberta        Vital Statistics (Legal component)

  • A follow-up email with the couple after Wedding Day

Personalized Ceremony

$300 plus GST

  • Personalized Marriage Ceremony with supplied questions

  • Ceremony consultation via email

  • Preparation of Ceremony Script 

  • NO in-person meeting

  • Communication throughout - phone calls, emails, etc.

  • Officiating the Marriage Ceremony

  • Civil Marriage Statement (proof of marriage)

  • Submission of completed Marriage Licence to Alberta        Vital Statistics (Legal component)

  • A follow-up email with the couple after Wedding Day

Basic, Destination or 
Elopement Ceremony

$250 plus GST

  • Basic Ceremony 

  • Pre-Wedding meeting just prior to the ceremony

  • Preparation of Basic Marriage Ceremony script

  • Communication throughout - phone calls, emails, etc.

  • Officiating the Marriage Ceremony

  • Civil Marriage Statement (proof of marriage)

  • Submission of completed Marriage Licence to Alberta Vital Statistics (Legal component)

  • A follow-up email with the couple after Wedding Day

Rehearsal Fee

$125 plus GST

​Ensure a smooth Marriage Ceremony with a rehearsal. 

 

SEANNA will review the process to ensure the entire bridal party and family members are confident and ready for the ceremony.  

Marriage Certificate Rush Fee

 Additional Fees for Statutory Holidays.

After your ceremony, your Marriage Licence is required to be registered with Alberta Vital Statics

and can take up to three weeks. Should you require your Marriage Certificate sooner, 

SEANNA will personally register your completed Marriage Licence the next business day.
